Concession - Ninja Warrior UK
A Ninja Warrior unit was being installed within a well known supermarket, utilising the space where their clothing department once was. The supermarket’s electrical contractor contacted Cura requesting the installation of energy submetering as the new unit would be using the same energy supply as the supermarket and therefore needed to be charged accordingly.
Cura Energy supplied, installed and commissioned tariff approved submetering which would be visible remotely on the supermarket’s existing energy monitoring platform. The energy metering consisted of CT connected MID energy meters suitable for tenant billing purposes and a data logger with connectivity to the supermarket’s energy monitoring platform via a 4G SIM card, all housed within a compact enclosure to protect it from damage.
All works were completed in time for the client to hand over the new concession space to be fitted out by the tenant. The supermarket can now re charge the Ninja Warrior unit for its electricity consumption as well as provide visibility of their patterns of energy use.
