The Background

Using our LiveEye advanced energy management platform, Cura Energy helped a hospitality sector client verify a 35% reduction in lighting energy consumption and demonstrate a projected return on investment in under 3 years following a major LED lighting upgrade programme.

To accurately measure the impact of the project, we installed energy monitoring prior to the replacement of existing lighting with energy-efficient LED fixtures. This enabled us to establish a reliable baseline for ongoing energy and performance tracking.

The Cura Energy Approach

Our team carried out a detailed site survey to identify how the existing lighting supplies could be monitored and measured effectively.

Our own energy monitoring equipment was then supplied, installed and commissioned, providing the client with access to detailed energy data through the LiveEye platform. This allowed our customer to capture and analyse a full month of lighting energy consumption data before the LED upgrade works began.

Following completion of the lighting upgrade, the client utilised LiveEye’s advanced project reporting functionality to measure reductions in energy consumption and track actual project performance against projected savings in real time.
