LiveEye Project Tracking – Alarms & Actions

Facilities Management

Project Details

Client: Facilities Management

Task: LiveEye Energy Management Platform – Alarms & Actions

The Background

Cura Energy’s LiveEye advanced energy management platform is helping a leading Facilities Management company improve visibility of energy consumption across a large multi-site client portfolio. The improved monitoring and issue management process contributed to a 7% year-on-year reduction in energy consumption across the estate.

Our Client’s core objective was to consolidate sub-meter data from multiple sites into a single platform. This would allow them to identify unusual energy usage more quickly and respond more effectively to issues across their estate. A key requirement was the ability to automatically detect anomalous energy consumption and track each issue through to resolution.

The Cura Energy Approach

Following the successful integration of the Client’s sub-meter data into the LiveEye platform, Cura Energy configured automated alarms based on agreed energy baselines across the estate. The alarm strategy also considered external variables such as temperature and cloud cover to improve the accuracy of energy exception reporting.

Each alert automatically generated an ‘Action’ within the LiveEye system and assigned it to a specific individual for investigation and resolution. This ensured all identified issues were actively managed and followed through to completion.

The Result

By combining improved visibility of anomalous energy consumption with integrated action tracking, our client significantly reduced reactive maintenance response times across their portfolio.
This delivered:

  • Centralised visibility of sub-meter data across multiple client sites.
  • Faster identification and response to abnormal energy consumption.
  • Automated issue tracking and accountability through LiveEye Actions.
  • Improved management of reactive maintenance activities.
  • A verified 7% year-on-year reduction in energy consumption across the portfolio.
