Cura Energy has helped shape the updated CIBSE TM39: Building Metering and Monitoring guide as part of the CIBSE steering group responsible for updating the industry-leading technical guidance.
The updated TM39 reflects the growing importance of high-quality building data in improving compliance, operational performance and energy decision-making across complex estates.
Drawing on more than 15 years of metering and monitoring expertise, Cura contributed practical implementation insight to help ensure the guidance remains relevant, actionable and aligned with the needs of today’s built environment professionals.
Chris Kelly, Senior Data Analyst, and Stuart Seaton, Service Delivery Manager, shared technical expertise as part of Cura’s contribution to the steering group. The updated guidance expands support across areas including stakeholder engagement, metering architecture, commissioning, data analytics, Part L compliance and tenant billing.
Carly Higglesden, Managing Director of Cura Energy said:
“Cura is committed to delivering high-quality, customer-first solutions that perform in the real world, not just on paper. We’re proud to be part of the TM39 steering group, using our deep sector expertise to help build practical guidance that improves decision-making across the built environment.”
Chris and Stuart will also represent Cura at the official TM39 launch event in London on 25 June, hosted by CIBSE.
If you would like support developing a TM39-ready metering strategy, Cura’s energy experts can help improve visibility, compliance and energy performance across your estate.
