Cura Energy is pleased to announce that we have joined UKHospitality, the leading trade association representing the UK’s hospitality sector.
This membership reflects our commitment to supporting businesses in hospitality with the tools and expertise they need to improve energy efficiency, lower costs across their estates.
UKHospitality is the authoritative voice for more than 750 companies operating around 140,000 venues. The sector employs 3.5 million people and plays a vital role in the UK economy, but it is also facing increasing pressure to manage rising energy costs and drive progress towards net zero.
The hospitality sector is a key focus area for Cura Energy. From hotels and restaurants to pubs, bars and leisure facilities, these businesses must balance efficiency with service and guest comfort. Cura is already helping operators achieve this by delivering integrated smart building and energy monitoring solutions that monitor, control and optimise consumption across their estates.
As a new Supplier Member, we look forward to being an active contributor to the association’s work. Our participation gives us an opportunity to share our expertise and engage with members on the challenges and opportunities facing the sector. Our first opportunity to meet other members will be UKHospitality’s major Sustainability Seminar 2025 in October. This conference will bring together industry leaders to explore how hospitality businesses can accelerate their sustainability journeys.
Our Supplier Membership of UKHospitality builds on our wider involvement across UK vertical industries. Cura Energy is already an associate member of the British Retail Consortium, where we collaborate with retailers to deliver measurable benefits in energy management and operational efficiency. These sectors have complex, multi-site estates, which often presents operators with major opportunities for energy management, reduction and control. By engaging with sector-focused trade associations, we are supporting these cost-conscious businesses and bringing over 14 years worth of experience to the table.
As UKHospitality continues to advocate on behalf of the industry, including on issues such as energy policy, sustainability and cost management, Cura Energy looks forward to contributing to its work and helping members make progress towards their energy and environmental goals.
