One year with Ecologi: playing our part in a wider climate impact
As we kick off 2026, we’re marking one year of our partnership with Ecologi - a milestone that reflects our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and meaningful climate action.
Throughout 2025, sustainability remained a key priority for Cura Energy. Partnering with Ecologi, a leading climate action organisation and certified B Corp, marked an important step in turning that commitment into measurable impact.
Our commitment in action
Through our partnership with Ecologi, we committed to funding the planting of 1,152 trees per year and offsetting 192 tonnes of CO₂e annually. Alongside this, we pledged to plant a tree for every client win, every new hire, and every employee birthday - embedding climate action into how we grow as a business.
Twelve months on, we’re proud to have exceeded our original commitment:
- 1,162 trees funded
- 192 tonnes of CO₂e avoided
To put these numbers into real-world context, this carbon saving is equivalent to grounding around 147 long-haul flights. As we begin 2026, Ecologi has awarded Cura Energy its One Year of Climate Action badge - recognition that reflects our focus on delivering measurable impact.
Contributing to a wider impact
Our partnership with Ecologi places Cura Energy alongside a community of more than 24,000 businesses working towards a cleaner, greener future.
In 2025 alone, Ecologi’s global impact included:
- Over 7 million trees funded
- 605,893 tonnes of CO₂e prevented from entering the atmosphere
- 42,753 tonnes of CO₂e removed
- 46,810 m² of vital habitat restored
Since its founding in 2019, Ecologi has helped fund 94 million trees, avoid 3 million tonnes of verified CO₂e, and restore 71,000 m² of vital habitat, supporting ecosystems and future generations. We’re proud that our own contribution forms part of this much wider collective effort.
